Privacy Statement

I'm not planning on writing a long legal document here, so here's the deal in plain English

Your Contact Details

If I have your contact details on file, it's because we've agreed to do business and need to communicate.
You may know that marketing companies like to collect people's e-mail addresses, phone numbers, etc into big lists that they can sell on to people who will bombard you with ads for things you don't want.
Well, I didn't pay to get your contact details, and I won't be selling them on to a bunch of marketers either.

Passwords and Computer Access

This should be common sense, but I've seen people stung by it before. If I set up your website, I will tell you the passwords you need to edit it. I will also show you how to change the passwords.
Too many people have found themselves held to ransom, or stuck with a bad webdesigner who refuses to hand over the passwords. My clients stay with me because they like my work. There's no ball and chain involved.

General Client Confidentiality

I want to understand your business enough to help you market it online, and that shouldn't include any secrets. I will ask for the informaiton I need to help you promote your business, and if that information isn't available to the general public, I won't be the one to go spreading it around.
